Our team is led by Kurt Rushlow, Owner & Lead Builder, a fourth-generation building professional with a deep passion for quality craftsmanship and timeless design. With an eye for detail and a commitment to excellence, we work closely with clients to create homes that reflect their lifestyle, values, and dreams.

Our story

Kurt’s passion for building began early—at just 17 years old, he started framing homes while still in high school. Influenced by the creativity and precision of his father’s architectural work, and inspired by the legacy of his grandfather and great-grandfather—both respected tradesmen in the building industry—Kurt knew he was meant to build.

In 2013, he founded KOR Construction, delivering premium framing services for some of the most respected custom home builders in the GTA and Durham Region. Over more than a decade, Kurt’s reputation for quality, reliability, and building excellence made him a trusted name in the industry.

Now, after 16 years of hands-on experience and client success, KOR Construction has evolved into a full-service custom design-build firm, bringing luxury homes, cottages, and major renovations to life from the ground up.
